Intro to Handguns 101 is an introduction to firearms, firearms safety, and maintenance. This course will cover the 4 universal firearms safety rules, the many fundamentals of marksmanship, and the proper operation of both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. We will also discuss ammunition types/selection, pistol selection and storage, and loading/unloading magazines with proper firearms clearing procedures. Lastly, students will complete a 50-round live fire portion while on the range with the MCP-certified course instructor.
